This privacy policy describes Semcon’s processing of your personal data in XLPM Online, that is, when you register and access the information at www.xlpm-online.com. XLPM Online is provided by Semcon Sweden AB, organization number 556555-8193, Lindholmsallén 2, 417 80 Gothenburg, Sweden ("Semcon").

By accepting this privacy policy, which is an integral part of XLPM Online's Terms of Use, you confirm that you have received information about how your personal data is processed in XLPM Online.

Definitions

Personal data is information that can directly or indirectly be connected to a living person. Examples of personal data are name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

Processing of personal data includes all handling of personal data, such as collection, registration and storage.

Personal data controller is the one who alone or together with other(s) determines the purpose and means of the processing of personal data and is ultimately responsible for the processing in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Semcon is the personal data controller for the personal data you register and that is processed in XLPM Online.

Information We Collect

The following information about you is collected and processed:

Email address and encrypted, personal password

This information is collected when you register to XLPM Online and is used to allow you to log in to XLPM Online. The e-mail address is also used to send information regarding, for example, disturbances in XLPM Online, inactivity warnings with eventual deletion of login to XLPM Online, as well as monthly statistics on XLPM Online usage. If you have chosen to receive a newsletter from us, the e-mail address is also used for this purpose.

Legal Basis for the Processing

The information is collected and processed by Semcon as part of the fulfillment of an agreement with you or with your organization regarding the provision of XLPM Online service and the information is a prerequisite for Semcon to provide the service and fulfill the agreement.

In case you have chosen to receive newsletters from us, we base the processing on your consent that you submitted in connection with registering. If you registered before April 2018, we base our communication with you on Semcon’s legitimate interests in communicating and maintaining a business relationship with you as a customer contact and continuously informing you about our business, our training and our events. We believe that our legitimate interest complies with applicable privacy laws and respects your rights and freedoms.

You may at any time revoke your consent to receiving the newsletter or choose to unsubscribe (opt-out) from it. In that case we will immediately cease sending newsletters to you.

Transfer of Personal Data

Semcon will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data. Personal data may, however, be processed by a third party in the form of personal data assistants engaged by Semcon, for example, for operating and hosting the XLPM Online platform.

Storage and Deletion of Personal Data

Your personal data will not be stored longer than necessary to log in to XLPM Online. Your personal data will be permanently deleted after you have been inactive on XLPM Online for 7 months, unless otherwise agreed between Semcon and your organization.

Your personal data is also permanently deleted if your organization ends its XLPM Online license.

Information, Correction and Complaints

You have, under applicable privacy laws, the right to request free of charge information about Semcon’s processing of your personal data. If you would like such information, you are asked to send a written, signed request to Semcon at the address specified above. The request can also be sent by e-mail to xlpm@semcon.com. If your personal data is incorrect or has been processed in violation of applicable privacy laws, you are always entitled to request that your personal data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You also have the right to, where possible, request the transfer of your personal data to another specified personal data controller (data portability).

You have the right to turn to the Data Inspection Board (Swedish Datainspektionen, which will change its name to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), which is the supervisory authority, with complaints regarding Semcon's processing of personal data in XLPM Online. You can also write to us with complaints, to email dataprivacy@semcon.com.
